Bill Unrue – President
Bill Unrue joined Anonymizer in 2000 bringing a winning history of turning companies around and achieving exponential growth. Past successes include steering Sunbeam’s Canadian division into profitability, and nearly tripling the sales of the company’s Health Care division. Bill has also engineered significant reversals at the Thermos Company, and as President of Newpoint‚ a division of Fiskars‚ Inc. Under Bill’s leadership, Anonymizer has quadrupled in size, and developed three mature business sectors. He holds a Masters in Management from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University and a BA in Economics from the University of Washington.
Lance Cottrell – Chief Scientist
Lance Cottrell founded Anonymizer in 1995, and is an internationally recognized expert in cryptography‚ online privacy‚ and Internet security. He has addressed conferences such as the Computers Freedom and Privacy Conference‚ the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Europe‚ and the MIT Forum. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and principal author on multiple Internet privacy and security technology patent applications. In addition to sitting on the Steering Committee for Software as a Service (SaaS) with the San Diego Software Industry Council (SDSIC)‚ he is also an active member of InfraGard and the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA). He holds a MS in Physics from the University of California, San Diego and a BS in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Mike Kilrain – VP of Government Sales
Mike Kilrain has a history of achievements selling to the Federal government. Throughout his career‚ Mike's primary responsibilities have been selling and servicing the Federal sector for several technology organizations including software‚ telecommunications‚ and systems integration companies such as Borland Software‚ SAS Institute‚ MCI Government Solutions‚ Federal Data Corporation‚ and EDS. Mike has a consistent record of success in growing and managing profitable revenues through the sale of complex solutions to government agencies and system integration firms. He holds a MS in International Business from the University of Maryland and a BA in Business Administration from Assumption College.
Brent Smith – Director of Commercial Sales
Brent Smith joined the Anonymizer team in 2009 with a history of success in B2B services and software sales for Electronic Design Automation and Data Protection Solutions. With over 15 years of professional sales and management experience‚ he brings a unique perspective to the needs of today’s businesses. His focus on team growth and revenue achievement has helped him obtain substantial results at previous companies including Altium Inc. and Overland Storage. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University.
